Great Southeast Pollinator Census

  • Peachtree Elementary School 5995 Crooked Creek Road Northwest Peachtree Corners, Georgia, 30092 United States (map)

Help us celebrate and protect the amazing pollinators that keep our gardens and ecosystems thriving! The Peachtree Corners Garden Club is participating in the Great Southeast Pollinator Census, a statewide citizen science project created by the University of Georgia that brings communities together to learn about and collect important information on pollinator populations.

During this fun and educational event, volunteers will help observe and count pollinators visiting flowering plants in our garden. Participants will learn how to identify common pollinators,  watch for insect activity , and record their observations. The process is simple and everyone can participate, no insect expertise required! Volunteers will spend time observing a selected plant and counting pollinator visits during a short observation period.

Whether you can stay for the entire event or only have a few minutes to spare, we would love to have you join us. Drop in when you are able, bring your curiosity, and enjoy a morning celebrating the incredible insects that help our gardens grow.

No gardening experience is necessary, just bring your enthusiasm and a pen.
